10:30 - 11:30: Hans Rupprecht Goette, "Mausoleum or Choregic Monument? On the Self Representation of the Athenian Upper-Class under the Democracy"

1:00 - 2:00: Carol Mattusch, "New Perspectives on Athenian Bronze Statuary"

2:15 - 3:15: John Camp, "Recent Excavations in the Athenian Agora"

Attend one of these talks (preferably the last one by John Camp) and write a one- to two-page summary to hand in on class on Wednesday, 9/22.

If your schedule will not allow you to attend any of the talks, contact me and we'll devise some other punishment, er, I mean assignment of course!
